Job Description:
As a Junior Accounts Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our finance department in various accounting tasks. Working closely with senior accountants, you’ll gain valuable experience and contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes. From managing accounts payable and receivable to assisting with financial reporting, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation for audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support to senior accountants and finance team as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
- Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
