Eligible patients:

Patients with no medical comorbidities and those approved by the doctor.

 

Ineligible patients:

• Patients with organ dysfunction.
• Patients with uncontrolled medical conditions
• (subject to the doctor’s discretion).
• Patients with comorbidities or high risks for surgery.
• Patients with acute myocardial infarction within the last 6 months.
• Patients with HIV
• Other conditions, subject to the doctor’s discretion.
• The prices are valid for fly-in customers from Top Thai Brands 2023 event, Bangladesh only.

 

Inclusions:

1. Doctor’s fee Orthopedic surgeon, surgical assistant (if required), anesthesiologist, and physical medicine and rehabilitation physician.
2. Operating theater

• 2-hour use of the operating theater, including nursing service, doctor’s assistant, and surgical team for Uni-compartmental Knee Replacement (UKR), Total Knee Replacement (TKR), and Total Hip Replacement (THR).
• 3-hour use of the operating theater, including nursing service, doctor’s assistant, and surgical team for Bilateral Knee Replacement.

 3. Patient room
           Executive Lake View/Executive River View accommodation including standard hospital meals, nursing fee, and hospital service fee. The first-night stay starts  on the day of operation. (If a preoperative hospital stay is required, an additional charge will be applied.)

• 2 Days 2 Nights for Unicompartmental Knee Replacement (UKR)
• 3 Days 3 Nights for Total Knee Replacement (TKR) and Total Hip Replacement (THR).
• 4 Days 4 Nights for Bilateral Knee Replacement.

      4. Medical supplies
           Standard knee prosthesis and medical supplies as specified in the package.

      5. Medications as specified in the package

      6. Physical therapy, as specified in the package

Terms and conditions

• The price is valid from now until 31 December 2023
• The price excludes pre-operative evaluation, follow-up appointments, and the consultation or treatment fee by Internal Medicine doctors or other medical specialists not specified in the package.
• The price excludes any expenses due to emergency surgery or complications requiring the use of special medical devices or extended operative duration.
• The price cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances, including when patients refuse or omit any procedure or treatment specified in the package.
• The price excludes additional expenses due to an extended hospital stay or ICU admission (if required).
•  The prices exclude personal expenses such as extra meals for patients and relatives, beverages, phone bills, etc. Any expenditure incurred will be charged accordingly.
• The price excludes any other expense for items or procedures not included in the package, i.e,, surgical procedure, physical therapy, medications for patients’ preexisting medical conditions, medications extraneous to the ones specified, and/or take-home medical supplies.
• The price excludes blood transfusion and pre-operative and postoperative tests, i.e., CBC, X-ray, EKG, prosthetics, etc., as recommended by doctors.
• The packages are available for Thai nationals and expatriates residing in Thailand only.
