Facilities & Technology

3D Stereo-Microscopes

Every single hair graft is dissected and inspected under high-magnification 3D microscopes by a dedicated team to ensure only the healthiest tissue is used for the transplant.

Laser-Assisted Hairline Design

A specialized laser mapping tool is used to create a perfectly symmetrical, age-appropriate hairline tailored to the patient’s specific facial structure.

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

Post-operative "laser hoods" are used during the recovery week to stimulate blood flow, reduce swelling, and speed up the healing of newly implanted grafts.

Treatment Programs

The "Combo" Program (Signature)

A highly specialized session that combines FUT and FUE simultaneously. This allows the surgeon to harvest a much larger number of grafts in one day than either method could achieve alone, making it the preferred choice for patients with advanced hair loss.

FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation)

Known as the "Strip" method, favored for patients needing maximum coverage with minimal shaving of the donor area.

FUE (Follicular Unit Excision)

A stitchless method where individual follicles are removed, ideal for patients who prefer to wear their hair very short.

Facial Hair Restoration

Specific programs for permanent eyebrow, beard, mustache, and sideburn transplants.

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

A non-surgical program using specialized medical tattooing to simulate the appearance of hair density.

Medical Maintenance

Focused programs using PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and FDA-approved medications to prevent further hair loss in non-transplanted areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Combo technique is the clinic's signature program, combining FUT and FUE in a single session. This is specifically designed for patients with advanced hair loss (Norwood Scale 4–6) who require a high number of grafts (4,000+). By using both methods, the surgeons can harvest a larger total amount of donor hair in one day than either method could provide alone, effectively maximizing hair density in a single trip.

The clinic recommends a minimum stay of 5 to 7 days. Day 1: Final in-person consultation and the surgical procedure. Days 2–5: Mandatory daily visits to the clinic for professional hair washing, wound care, and Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT). These follow-up days are critical because the clinic’s team manually cleans the grafts to prevent heavy scabbing, which improves both comfort and the final survival rate of the hair.

Most patients describe the procedure as virtually painless after the initial local anesthesia is administered. DHT Clinic is known for its "light-touch" technique to minimize scalp trauma.

Redness and scabbing typically clears within 7 to 10 days. While the transplanted hair will normally shed about 3–4 weeks after the surgery, new permanent growth begins around the 3rd or 4th month, with the full, natural result visible at the one-year mark.
